According to the 2006 Census, the population of the Frontenacs grew 9.25% to 26,600 over the last five years.  The Region of Ottawa, Kingston CMA and the Greater Golden Horseshoe define the main trading area ...
The Frontenacs are rich in natural treasures - 1,000 lakes, 1,000 islands, Lake Ontario, the Frontenac Arch, the Frontenac Biosphere, Frontenac Provincial Park, Bon Echo Provincial Park,
The County of Frontenac is one of the smallest Counties in Eastern Ontario in terms of population (26,600) but one of the largest in terms of area (3,200 km2).
Most, if not all, of the communities in the southern and central parts of the County were established as a result of agricultural activity in and around the area.

This project was made possible with a financial contribution from the Eastern Ontario Development Program (EODP) and the support of the Frontenac CFDC.
